Autobiography

 

     My name is Joyce Daryl Inglés Santiago. I was born in Moca, Puerto Rico, on October 9, 2001. My father's name is Carlos Inglés and his wife is Marilourdes Acevedo. I have an older brother named Carlos R. Inglés Santiago who lives in the United States. I currently live in a neighborhood called Robles with my parents and two dogs. I studied my first years at the San Sebastián Bilingual School where I was very interested in swimming and won two competitions and then they moved me to the San Sebastián Mártir Academy where I participated every year in dance competitions, science fairs and I was also on the school volleyball team. From sixth to ninth grade, I studied at the Second Unit Bernardo Méndez and my high school years were at the Manuel Méndez Liciaga Vocational High School where I took a cosmetology course and acquired a cosmetologist certificate, I was an assistant in the library, and usher in open houses, and I was given the opportunity to participate in regional English competitions in the Speech category. Thanks to the help of several teachers, my parents, and my effort, I won third place, and at graduation, I sang the song dedicated to graduates.

 

     I am currently studying Pedagogy specialized in English and multimedia at the University of Puerto Rico at Aguadilla and I reside during the weeks in accommodation right next to the university. As my hobby, I like to read, listen to music, do hair and nails, take singing lessons, read poems in cultural activities, and help in those types of activities. In the future, I hope to be a professor at a university, no matter where I am I will fulfill my dreams, I will go anywhere to give a good education to my future students, I will be responsible, patient, flexible, communicative, and respectful with my students so that they do not feel insufficient or want to abandon their studies, I want to motivate them and inspire them to study and be their best versions of themselves.
